• Jeff Buckley: Oh my God, c'mon, have you not heard of Jeff Buckley? What's the name of the album? He's only done one and then he died. Jeff Buckley's Grace is the most sensational album ever, I think one of the best. You can't listen to it and not cry.
• Damien Rice: Actually, Damien Rice's album, O, is very good as well. If you see him live, he did a version of "Hallelujah." Jeff Buckley's "Hallelujah" is just sensational and I saw him live in Glasgow and the tears were running down my face, so those two are completely fantastic.
• I think Kate Winslet is great. The fact that she says, 'I like my curves,' is important to a lot of girls my age. Judi Dench is great, fantastic. I also admire Sylvia Miles and Rosamund Pike.
• Katharine Hepburn and Vivien Leigh are my heroes. Not because of their ability, but because of their perseverance.
• Johnny Depp: There's no question, at least I think, is that he is one of the most talented actors around at the moment. The fact that he's courageous enough to absolutely go for this character in a completely unique way, well, it completely sums up Johnny. So I loved it. It was very spontaneous, it was very funny. It kind of all gave us all a freedom to let us play around and do what we wanted to do.
• West Ham United: They've got all those amazing players, byt [at times] they've looked like a bunch of people who can't be bothered. Like watching a bunch of school kids.
• The White Stripes: The gig was great, they’re one of my favourite bands so to watch from the stage was a real experience.
• Josh Ritter: I'm constantly listening to Josh Ritter because I think he is wonderful.
• Josh Ritter: Like this guy called Josh Ritter. For my 21st birthday party my parents and my agent arranged for him to play as a complete surprise. My jaw was literally on the floor! And I got so embarrassed I couldn’t speak to him at all.
